Oleksandr Lavrynovych deems the Parliament adopted a number of important laws notwithstanding political confrontations. It was declared by the First Deputy Chairman in the course of the interview for the 24th channel summing up the work of the Ukrainian Parliament during the previous political year.
According to O. Lavrynovych, the functioning of the main representative body depends a lot on the structure that was formed as a result of the voting during the parliamentary election.
Among the most essential laws, adopted by the Parliament, that bears the positive impact on the people´s life, The First Deputy Chairman named the laws of social orientation regarding the increase of the minimal wages and pensions, protection of people with disabilities and orphaned children and the Law on elections of the President of Ukraine.
"When we consider social necessity and vitality, among the most essential laws should be named those on Constitutional Court and aircraft construction. Still, the most essential are the laws concerning the increase of the social standards, pension provision etc", - O. Lavrynovych emphasized.
The First Deputy Chairman expressed regret that in order to solve these urgent issues, the Party of Regions was forced to bloc the lectern as, unfortunately, the so-called coalition made no attempts to hear their initiatives.
"Certain People´s Deputies have not seen people with UAH 1000 salary and UAH 500 pensions even when the minimum, presupposed by the Law is bigger. One must not forget that Ukrainian citizens are supposed to have normal life", - O. Lavrynovych proclaimed.
Concerning the positive evaluation of the Law on the Election o the President of Ukraine, O. Lavrynovych stressed: "The quality of this law was provided by the fact it was elaborated by the professional constitutional law specialists that belong to the opposed political powers."
