The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Amendments to Clause 10 of the Law "On the State Decorations of Ukraine" (re Introduction of the Honorary Title "Honoured Civil Protection Worker")

The Law introduces an honorary title "Honoured Civil Protection Worker", which gives incentives for the civil protection workers to achieve high results in the fulfillment of their duties and protection of population and territories from emergency situations".

The Law comes into force since 1 January 2011.

A relevant Bill was registered under Reg. No. 2103.
