Oleksandr Lavrynovych: It is possible that the First Elections Round will appear the Last One
"It is obvious that pro-governmental political force has no intention to stabilize and make the voting process more transparent", - the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared in the course of the interview for "Era" Television Radio Company, giving comments concerning the attempts of the pro-governmental faction to introduce for the parliamentary scrutiny the Bill on amendments to the Law of Ukraine on the elections of the President of Ukraine regarding the prohibition to vote at home, in four days before the voting.
According to O. Lavrynovych, "the only goal here was to destabilize the situation and form in the society the image of the election returns falsification." The politician also stated that "people are aware of the fact that the election returns "correction" might be conducted exclusively by those possessing power instruments.
O. Lavrynovych declared concerning the citizens´ voting at home quantity, that it has always been more or less stable during the years and it ranges from three to five per cent. Hence, the First Deputy Chairman is convinced that "speaking on falsification of voting results with the help of people that are not able to attend the polling districts is an extremely excogitated technology."
Moreover, O. Lavrynovych gave the answers to the question concerning the fact that three months ago, the pro-governmental team was completely satisfied with the efficient law principles. The First Vice Chairman explained it in the following way: "It is connected with the facts that the Prime Minister now is able to clearly evaluate that she has no chances to receive the support of the citizens in the course of the fair voting, hence it is necessary to seek some other illegal ways to prevent the fair voting process."
"I am convinced that today neither somebody nor something is able to stop the voting process. In three days we will have the results of first round of voting", - the First Deputy Chairman stated adding: "It is highly possible that the first round will appear the last one."
