The Bill (Reg. No. 4345) determines the basic areas of volunteering, forms of its governmental assistance, rights and obligations of the volunteers, etc.
The Committee members stated that the Bill envisaged a possibility of independent volunteering activity, or conclusion of the agreement between a volunteer and a volunteering organization or institution willing to attract a volunteer.
Moreover, during the Committee sitting, the Bill on in Ukraine was also scrutinized (Reg.№4345-1) that as well suggests regulation of the basic legal and organizational principles in this sphere.
The Members of the Committee declared that the majority of the mentioned above Bill principles are similar to the bill №4345. Still, the People´s Deputies deems the separate bill´s principles are not quite comprehensible in particular it concerns such type of volunteering as "national minorities support."
As a result of the discussion the Committee resolved to uphold the Bill on volunteering, registered under №4345 and in the course of its elaboration for the second reading, certain principles of the Bill, registered under №4345-1, are supposed to be taken into the consideration.
