The Bill (Reg. No. 3371) determines legal and organizational principles of realization of the right for freedom of association, creates favourable conditions for establishment and activity of public associations and development of civic society.
The Committee members stated that the Bill had been elaborated on the basis of Clause 11 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms of 4 November 1950 and a corresponding Clause 36 of the Constitution of Ukraine.
