Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine expressed for the Comprehensive Investigation regarding the Decisions on Land Assignment into the Private Property in Zakarpattia Region.
In the course of the conversation with the journalists in Mizhhiria township, V. Lytvyn declared that the town residents expressed indignation concerning the fact of their land assignation into the private property. "People are indignant at the fact that their native land does not belong them any more", - the Head of the Parliament stated.
V. Lytvyn characterized the situation with "the land question" as "a banditry." "Today there are numerous people´s addresses regarding the facts of land misappropriation by local princelings", - the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada declared.
According to V. Lytvyn, one of the reasons that worsen the situation "is considerable lack of control concerning the State Administration Chairmen." "Village Council possesses the influence on the land issues solutions only in the framework of the townships and beyond its borders the land belongs to one person the Head of the Administration", - he proclaimed.
Volodymyr Lytvyn deems it necessary to analyze all the documents regarding the land property acts and in case certain violations are detected, such documents are to be recognized as invalid.
The Chairman also expressed for the necessity "to use as efficiently as possible Zakarpattia recreation opportunities in the favor of the Ukrainian citizens in order people from the whole Ukraine spend their free time here."
Speaking about the issue on illegal forest devastation, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared that he worried regarding the Governmental decision to assign former collective forests into the property of State Municipal Foresty Administration as according to him, "not all the forest areas stay in the state property." V. Lytvyn briefed that he made relevant inquiries concerning this issues.
