The Bill introduces amendments to the effective Law that enhance legal regulation of activity of bodies in charge of the Register, define the procedure of its formation and regulate compilation of the voters´ register before the Register becomes valid.
The Bill extends the competence of an administrator of the State Voters´ Register. Thus, the administrator is authorized to settle certain legal or organizational matters concerning conduct of the State Voters´ Register in the normative legal acts of their own.
For the second reading the Bill received 244 amendments, 3 of them were upheld (26, 28, 31).
The Bill (Reg. No.3469) is directed to the profile committee on elaboration for the third reading.
