Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine took Part on Thursday in the International Scientific Practical Conference "Global Climate Changes" that was held in Lviv National Forestry University.
Volodymyr Lytvyn, the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared that any Presidential or Governmental orders are supposed to be adopted taking into the consideration "experts decision of scientific cooperation but not the political necessity." "In such a away we would avoid such problems as floods, lands devastation, rivers pollution etc", - the Leader of the Parliament declared.
"There must be a voice of intelligence, voice of University cooperation and scientific elite, - V. Lytvyn proclaimed addressing the conference participants. You are not supposed to demonstrate devotion to these or that political powers but take care about our future."
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine announced that Ukraine should provide its development basing at its own abilities as it possess all the necessary for it. "Still, it is hard to be reached when there is monopolized economy. It is great that we have big capital, but it must be national and responsible, it must be invested in the state development", - he declared.
Representatives of the small and medium-sized businesses in order to be competitive and "survive" must introduce new technologies and monopoly reduces the level of competitive ability.
The participants of the conference also scrutinized the results of scientific research regarding the formation of the Ecologic Earth Constitution. According to Yuriy Tunytsia , Lviv National Forestry University rector, it was V. Lytvyn who used to support the University proposition to elaborate necessary materials for the Ukrainian initiatives, officially proclaimed during the session of UNO General Assembly 2008-2009.
"Adoption of the Ecologic Earth Constitution by the world community as an international legal document facilitate its scrutiny as document which demands implicit implementation and it in its turn facilitates the ecological problems overcoming in the whole world", - V. Lytvyn declared giving answers on the journalists questions.
As it was informed previously, V.Lytvyn will meet the residents of Lviv and Novoyavorivsk cities. In the evening, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will take part in the satellite debate in the "Priamym Tekstom" program (live at UT-Zakhid Channel).
On 4 December, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will stay in Rivne region. He will attend the grand opening of gas pipeline in Sosnove township, meet the residents of Berezne and Kostopil towns and speak with the personnel of "Rivneazot" OJSC.
In the city of Rivne, V.Lytvyn will attend the celebration of the Local Self-Government Day.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will hold press conferences for mass media and give interviews to the local TV channels.
