Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in the Framework of the Working Visit to Kherson Region has held the Meeting with the Teaching Stiff and Student of Kherson
The attention was paid to the perspectives of the development of national educational system and problems of employment for the young people after graduation.
According to V. Lytvyn, the system of national education should "preserve common sense and conservatism in the good sense of these words."
V. Lytvyn expressed for the revision
of "innovations of doubtful character" in the education system that are,
according to him "simply the imitation of law quality to prove our belonging to
Europe".
V. Lytvyn is convinced that the educational system should be transformed not according to the "form" but according to the "content", under such conditions only, the Bologna process might be implemented.
V. Lytvyn also has pointed out the attention on the necessity to correct mistakes of 12 year school education system implementation. He explained that it cause the situation that in the year 2012 there would not be school leavers. University Corporation according to him should find the solutions regarding this situation.
Summing up, V. Lytvyn emphasized on the necessity of education, science and high technologies sphere recognition as the priorities of the state policy.
