The Bill (Reg. No. 5249) submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers preserves the current procedure of registering persons released on parole from serving their sentence, and exerting control over their behaviour. It also prevents restriction of content and scope of their rights and liberties.
The Committee members believe that implementation of the Law will prevent extra expenditures from the State Budget due to the authorization of the State Criminal-Executive Service of Ukraine to register the persons released on parole from serving their sentence and exert control over their behaviour.
