The Concept determines objectives of
the State migration policy according to the interests of Ukraine and priorities of the State
migration regulation.
Thus, the Concept defines the essence of the State migration policy and its strategic objectives, forms comprehensive understanding of migration, sets the principles and priorities of activity of the public authority bodies in the field of migration, defines the ways of improving its legislative and institutional support, as well as tools and forms of its realization.
The Committee members stated that the Concept was aimed at the effective State management of migration, creation of conditions for stable demographic and socio-economic development of the country, enhancement of national security by preventing uncontrollable migration and eliminating its consequences.
A relevant Bill was registered under Reg. No. 5085.
