Pursuant to the Law, the Constitution of Ukraine and the Standing Orders of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted by the Parliament in the form of a special act of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine shall regulate organization and procedure of activity of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law on 22.10.2009. The President of Ukraine imposed veto on the Law on 06.11.2009.
Having scrutinized the President´s motions to the said Law, the Committee disagreed with them, as Paragraph 21 (Part 1 of Clause 92) of the Constitution of Ukraine states that only the Laws of Ukraine regulate organization and procedure of activity of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, as well as the status of the People´s Deputies.
A relevant Bill was registered under Reg. No. 5264.
