The Bill (Reg.№5273) recommends that the Prosecution General provide sufficient control for the Criminal-Procedural Code observance by the bodies conducting operative-investigative activity, inquest, pre-trial investigation concerning cases corruption of minors and crimes against juvenile sexual freedom and inviolability.
Authors grounded the necessity of the resolution adoption by the facts that "testifies ineffective and in certain cases illegal execution of functions by the officials regarding the protection of children constitutional rights."
During the sitting of the Committee it was declared that the Verkhovna Rada is supposed take supervising and other measures, presupposed by the Constitution of Ukraine, in order to protect main rights and liberties of children and also determine the complex of organizational-legal actions aimed for the state power bodies to implement.
According to the people´s Deputies, the adoption of the Resolution would facilitate full and scrupulous investigation of the issue that are of great social interest in Ukraine and beyond its borders and also implement complex of measures on children rights protection.
