Payments of Ukraine to the Russian Federation for Energy Resources shall be "Absolutely Transparent", Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, declares
V. Lytvyn made the above-mentioned statement during the press-conference in Zaporizhzhia.
V. Lytvyn proclaimed that despite the complicity of the situation, the process of delaying its evaluation is being continued. "There is a principle: live till 17 January at any rate and then whatever happens", - he informed.
Still, the leader of the Parliament is convinced that further payments to the Russian Federation for energy resources shall be "absolutely transparent". It is necessary to know at the expense of what "either emissions or external borrowings and payment for the gas transit for the next year" the payments shall be effected.
According to V. Lytvyn, it is reasonable to discuss this matter during the sitting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with the participation of Government leaders. Still, it is highly possible that the parliamentary tribune will be a place for mutual reproaches and inefficient work. "I object against it", - the leader of the Parliament stated.
