Mykola Tomenko: Political Inequality between the Declarations and Actions can be observed under the Conditions of Flu Epidemic
Mykola Tomenko, Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, stated that the political inequality between the declarations and actions could be observed in the activity of many politicians under the conditions of flu epidemic.
M.Tomenko stated that no sooner had the President made a special declaration and requested journalists to prevent politicians from appearing on TV, than the participation of Viktor Yushchenko in "Velyka Polityka" talk show at Inter Channel was announced in mass media.
The Vice-Chairman also drew attention to the fact that the representatives of the Party of Regions and Viktor Yushchenko presented an identical text concerning "maleficent" role of the BYuT meeting dedicated to the nomination of the candidate for presidency at Maidan Nezalezhnosti square in the spreading of flu epidemic. At the same time, the Party of Regions, the Communist Party and the pro-presidential part of "Our Ukraine" adopted the resolution to restore mass events, especially, meetings, during the governmentally announced quarantine.
Mykola Tomenko, Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, called on everybody with a request to assist the Government in successful overcoming of flu, instead of using epidemic as an instrument of conducting one´s presidential election campaign.
