The Law is aimed at enhancement of legal regulation of social relations in the museum sector, improvement of conditions for performance of scientific and economic activity by the museums.
Moreover, the Law also extends and specifies a number of terms and concepts, defines the procedure of formation and storage of museum stocks, etc.
The People´s Deputies believe that the document should define the concept "a monument", specify the authorities of the public and local self-government bodies appertaining to the museum matters.
A relevant Bill is registered under № 3020.
