Please accept my sincere greetings on the occasion of your occupational holiday the Railway Employee Day.
Ukrainian railway is of vital importance in the strengthening of economic power of our State, satisfaction of growing needs of the economic complex and provision of safe transportation.
Stable and efficient functioning of railway transport is of strategic importance for the State progress of Ukraine and its social welfare. Your persistent and self-sacrificing work yielded substantial results, especially in the restoration and modernization of steel main lines and rolling stock, construction of modern railway stations, enhancement of comfort and quality of passenger service, curtailment of cargo transportation terms, establishment of mutually beneficial international cooperation.
At present, 400 thousand railway employees are working upon further reforming and enhancement of the branch, relying upon competence, production discipline, responsibility, conscientiousness and understanding of importance of their work. It is a pledge of further success of Ukrainian railway, growth of its competitive ability and undeniable authority.
