Pursuant to the Bill (Reg. No. 4821), the students under 23 who belong to the children-victims of Chornobyl disaster in compliance with Clause 27 of the Law "On the Status and Social Security of Citizens-Victims of Chornobyl Disaster" (not only those who were entitled to category 4, as envisaged by the effective version of the Law) are entitled to obtain a room at the dormitory, unless they possess a dwelling, as well as an enhanced scholarship in the amount and under the procedure determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, irregardless of the place of education at the territory of Ukraine, as envisaged by Paragraph 6 of Clause 22 of the said Law.
The Committee members uphold the legislative initiative, as it enhances social security of children-victims of the Chornobyl disaster.
