Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine: Conducting Reforms in Education Sphere it is necessary to remain the Best achievements of the Previous Years
Higher education should become natural usual phenomenon the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine expressed such a thought during the conversation with the students and teaching stuff of Shostka Institute during the working visit to Sumy region.
V. Lytvyn stressed that he "does not agree with the bacchanalia in the system of higher educational institutions." V. Lytvyn emphasized that "it is important not only to give necessary knowledge for the young people but also teach them to develop."
He expressed thought that today universities, intellectual society should play the role of the moral centres of collective conscience. The state should make everything possible to "make the brains work."
V. Lytvyn declared that while conduction reformation in the educational system all the good achievements of the previous years should be preserved. He also mentioned that the system of education existing in USSR was one of the best as it was fundamental and it can be easily proved.
In the course of the working visit to Sumy region, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada visited Krolevets grain products plant.
