The Committee on Public Health upholds the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On the State System of Biological Safety by the Creation, Probation, Transportation and Use of Genetically Modified Organisms"

The Bill (Reg. No. 5029) introduces amendments to the effective law concerning delineation of authorities of the central executive bodies in charge of agrarian policy and the bodies in charge of veterinary medicine in the part of activity related to the genetically modified organisms.

The Committee members believe that adoption of the Bill will enhance legislative and normative-legal acts in the field of biological technologies.
