Volodymyr Lytvyn, the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine: The Ukrainian Finance System needs Public Supervision
V. Lytvyn during the working visit to Crimea met the citizens of Shcholkine town.
The local power stressed the attention on the problems connected with the natural environment of Leninskiy region. According to V. Novikov, the head of the forestry in the region, there are illegal deforestation.
V. Shkalaberda informed on the problems of the not working APP. According to him, there is great necessity to decide what must be done with 300 hectare of is where APP is built. He addressed to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada to ask his facilitation in the adoption of the bill on industrial p[arks that would envisage the development of industrial areas.
Addressing the citizens of Shcholkine town, V. Lytvyn promised to become more acquainted with their town problems and facilitate in their solving.
Giving answers regarding the necessity to increase the minimal pensions, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada informed that suggested the deputies to adopt the law that would restrict the salaries for the high-ranking authorities in the scope of UAH10 000.
"I am convinced that there is a necessity to order the pension system in Ukraine in order to spare more then UAH 6 billion for the increase of the pensions for the least provided population", - V. Lytvyn emphasized. Unfortunately, according to his words the bill was not supported.
Moreover, the representatives of that political power appealed to the Constitutional Court in order to investigate the legitimacy of the suggested by the Chairman amendments. The court resolution embarrassed the Chairman: "if I understood correctly, there is no right to worsen the life of 10% well-to-do pensioners but it is not possible to improve the life of 90% citizen."
Giving the answers regarding the necessity of the finance control in the country, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine expressed for the fact that "we should return the public control".
The Leader of the parliament also touched upon the issue regarding the economic situation in Ukraine. In particular he informed that according to the scientists data beyond the banking sphere today 14% form GDP is circulating, when the normal rate should be not more then 4%. "Otherwise we face the loss of the state control for the economic-finance situation in the country", - V. Lytvyn emphasized.
