Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine does not find any Obstacles for the Presidential Elections Conduction
"I do not find any Obstacles for the Presidential Elections Conduction", - V. Lytvyn declared during the press-conference in Chernihiv.
Still, the Leader of the parliament does not exclude such possibility after the first elections tour.
V. Lytvyn also stressed that one should wait the Constitutional Court of Ukraine resolution, which is scrutinizing in the closed regime the issue on the Law on amendments to the legislation of Ukraine regarding the elections of the President of Ukraine, expressing the thought that the Court "has the grounds to recognize certain number of the law principles as illegitimate".
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared what the most important for him "the elections must be held in order we have legitimate Head of the country." "The absence of the legitimacy leads to the fact that the President attempts to affirm his position at the expense of the imposing on the whole country his personal vision of this or that issue", - V. Lytvyn proclaimed.
According to V. Lytvyn "one should stop and realize that the country faces danger and we possess formal sovereignty that is not supported by the political consolidation or economic basis."
As it was informed previously, on Monday V. Lytvyn would stay with the working visit Chernihiv region.
