ON FRIDAY THE 9 OCTOBER NEXT PLENARY MEETING OF THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE OF THE SIXTH CONVOCATION WAS CLOSED
Opening the morning meeting, Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine informed on the decision of the Party of Regions to exclude Vasyl Kiseliov from the party.
From today the People´s Deputy V. Kiseliov is out of any party.
The Chairmna informed on the President´s of Ukraine presentation on the adoption of the Minister on Foreign Affairs.
V. Lytvyn read the Deputies interpellations.
The Bill of the Resolution "On setting up a Temporary Inquiry Panel of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to investigate Unauthorized Occupation of Land Plots, Illegitimate Construction of Residential, Business and Entertainment Centers in the City of Simferopol and Passivity of the Law-Enforcement Bodies" was presented by Vasyl Kiseliov, the People´s Deputy of Ukraine.
Pursuant to the Resolution, a Temporary Inquiry Panel of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine shall investigate unauthorized occupation of land plots, illegitimate construction of residential, business and entertainment centers in the city of Simferopol and passivity of the law-enforcement bodies. The Temporary Inquiry Panel shall work for three months
Chairman informed that the Party of Regions Faction adopted the decision to prohibit V. Kiseliov to take part in the wok of the committee and suggested another candidate.
The People´s Deputy passed the resolution by 359 votes according to which, V. Kiseliov is registered as out of party deputy.
The Parliamentarians scrutinized several issues regarding the ambiguities removing in Laws "On Amendments to certain legal Acts of Ukraine regarding the Provision of the soil Fertility Protection" and "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On the Securities and Stock Market" re the eminent and Investors Actions.
The People´s Deputies scrutinized the presentation of the President of Ukraine on Appointing P. Poroshenko to the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine
The First Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Taras Chornovil informed of the Committee´s decision to recommend that the Verkhovna Rada should appoint P. Poroshenko to the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine
The resolution was passed by 240 votes.
Petro Poroshenko swore as a Member of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
For the further elaboration was sent the Bill on the State Budget for the Year 2009" (re the regulatory policy regarding the communal services and participation in international missions)
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed the Resolution "On Recommendations of the Parliamentary Hearings "On Social, Medical and Pension Security of War Veterans and Celebration of the 65th Anniversary
O. Liashko, the People´s Deputy suggested that the parliamentarians should come back to the scrutiny of the Bill on the State Budget for the Year 2009" (re the regulatory policy regarding the communal services and participation in international missions) that was sent for the further elaboration, vote it and norm all the vital for the State Budgets issues for today.
The Chairman recommended that the People´s Deputy directed the profile committee in order it effectively work under its elaboration.
The Chair declared the plenary meeting adjourned.
12-16 October the People´s Deputies would be working in the committees and factions.
Next plenary meeting would be held on 20 October.
