The Bill (Reg.№4839), submitted by the People´s Deputies O. Skrybinets, Yu. Samoilenko is aimed at the substitution of the basic Law "On Security Service of Ukraine" that was adopted on 25.03.1992.
The authors of the bill motivates the necessity of the new law adoption by the fact that number of the effective law basic principles are obsolete, double or do not harmonize with certain other legal acts etc.
The People´s Deputies during the meting of the Committee declared that the elaborated bill is aimed at the increase of the efficiency in fighting against new real and potential threats regarding the national security, the further development of the state security sector and Security Service of Ukraine as well as its vital part.
During the discussion the Members of the Committee stressed that the Bill is complex in many aspects of the Security Service of Ukraine reformation Concept.
The Committee upheld the bill as according to them it is aimed at the strengthening of the legal, organizational and other principles of the Security Service of Ukraine functioning.
