Mykola Tomenko: Jointly with the Government, the Parliament shall finally terminate Gambling Business
Mykola Tomenko, Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, believes that the long-lasting blocking of The Verkhovna Rada resulted in the restoration of gambling business that had at first been terminated.
M.Tomenko stressed that the Government is not authorized to terminate the phenomenon completely, hence, different forms of gambling business rehabilitation can be observed at present, including the Internet-cafes that made an attempt to restore gambling by means of the so-called electronic money. M.Tomenko also drew attention to the attempt of legalizing a part of the gambling business through the activity of poker federations.
The Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is convinced that the Parliament shall act jointly with the Government in the struggle against gambling in order to stop the gaps that let the gambling business prosper.
