The Lytvyn Bloc Faction will nominate Oleksandr Osadchuk to the Office of the Central Election Commission Member
The Lytvyn Bloc Faction will nominate Oleksandr Osadchuk, Head of the Faction Administration, experienced jurist, to the Office of the Central Election Commission Member from this political power.
He declared that he had already directed the letter for the President of Ukraine with the request to introduce the suggested candidate for the Verkhovna Rada adoption as it the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine that nominates and dismisses the members of the Central Election Commission.
V. Lytvyn has also reminded in the there already is in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine the communication for the dismissal of Anatoliy Pysarenko from the post of CEC member due to the termination of his service term.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has emphasized that the issue was to be solved as "if the Central Election Commission members having no authority takes part in sittings there would be grounds to consider the decision adopted by the Central election Commission illicit".
