The Parliamentary form is possible in Ukraine under the condition when the reformation of the elective system is held. It was announced by O. Lavrynovych, the First Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine during the exclusive interview for the Russian internet-edition "Politcom.ru".
"Due to the modern structure of the political parties in Ukraine today, we may transfer into the totally parliamentary model. We need only reform of the election system that would make the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine the only body that represent the interests of the whole citizens of the country and introduce personal liability before the electorate. Still, probably under the present situation in Ukraine, the President´s model might be more effective", - O. Lavrynovych announced.
"My attitude towards the power divided between two parties and the "block" notion is negative, as it levels the responsibility for one´s work. I am for the development of the strong national parties that are able to suggest the country new directions of development, strategic programs and leaders who can implement it into life and be responsible for own actions together with his party", - O. Lavrynovych emphasized.
