Pursuant to the Bill (Reg. No. 3297), the record of public service for women required to obtain a pension on attainment of the retirement age at the public service is reduced to 8 years (an effective regulations envisages 10 years). The record of service at the positions treated as the public service offices required to obtain a pension on attainment of the retirement age irregardless of the employment place is reduced to 16 years (an effective regulation envisages 20 years).
The Committee members expressed their remarks concerning the Bill. Thus, it was mentioned that "a special record of service is regulated by the effective legislation that envisages provision of pensions on the privileged terms, at the privileged rates and for long service".
Moreover, the matter concerning provision of pensions is settled pursuant to the effective legislation on public service (i.e. the length of the special service is determined irregardless of person´s sex).
