Volodymyr Lytvyn: The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is being destroyed to avoid the Public Response to the Violations and Falsifications during the Election Campaign
Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, deems that the Verkhovna Rada is being destroyed to avoid the public response to the violations and falsifications during the election campaign.
The tribune is being blocked not because of the strong attempts to adopt the law on increase of the social standards, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada is convinced.
According to him, it is the initiators who do not want the decision to be adopted. "They are sure in the fact that they would easily obtain the victory during the president´s elections, that it is only the matter of time. Consequently, they are not interested in the increase of the social standards as they are not going to implement it into life. Their main aim is to destroy the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to avoid the public response to the violations and falsifications during the election campaign", - Volodymyr Lytvyn declared in the interview for "Rada" TV channel.
"These political powers have written the law to protect their interests, the law on the president´s elections, despite the obvious remarks to it, nevertheless they provided for its adoption, overcame the President´s veto and the law came into force. It is actually a raider scheme of assuming power in the country and does not leave any possibilities to controvert any illegal actions during the elections. All these facts prove that today they take course to receive their goal at any rate", - the leader of the Ukrainian Parliament deems.
He is convinced that today there are all the grounds to assert that the large-scale campaign is being implemented into life nowadays, the aim of which not through the people´s will but through the manipulations, pressure and bribery provide the necessary result and to obtain it, the Verkhovna Rada should be removed.
