The Bill (Reg.№4121) envisages that the officials of I-IV categories shall be obliged to submit a declaration on expenditures with the information concerning personal details and details of close relatives to the local taxation bodies annually.
During the discussion, the members of the Committee expressed a number of remarks to the bill. In particular, the People´s Deputies deem that "adoption of the bill will not lead to the implementation of expenditures declaration of the state public officials, but to the submission of declarations on expenditures and property, as already presupposed by the effective law."
The members of the Committee deem that the register of all the smallest expenditures made by the state public officials and their close relatives is impossible. Moreover, they declare that the submission of such information is of no social use as it will not facilitate fighting against corruption, but will become one of the manifestations of state bureaucracy.
