"Mykola Tomenko: Euro-2012 would be successful only when it would be implemented exclusively for the Interest of Ukrainian People and not for the Ukrainian Public Officials and UEFA", - M. Tomenko declared opening the round table discussion on the Topic "How to finish the Reconstruction of "Olimpiysky" National Sports Complex in Time" that is held today in the Parliament.
"In order to complete the preparation of the objects for Euro-20212 successfully, we must find out answers on certain questions and coordinate the work of the departments. AS it seems that under the work concerning reconstruction of may objects, NSC "Olimpiyskiy" in particular officials are trying to solve their land problems or attract without tender "brother" companies for the budget funds obtaining", - M. Tomenko declared in his speech.
Not less important according to M. Tomenko is the problem of sport structure preserving on the stadium itself and surrounding territory. "It is a great luxury to liquidate the sport objects at the expense of several plays, during Euro-2012. Our task is improving of the sport infrastructure", - he declared.
M. Tomenko emphasized that there is a need to proceed on the level on the systemic conversation of those people who are responsible for the reconstruction, responsible for the culture and sport in Parliament, National Olympic Committee and publicity for the successful completion of the project.
"Today we planned to hear the information of prepared by the Ministry on Family, Youth and Sport, information prepared by the Temporary Inquiry Panel of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to investigate the Law Abidance during the Reconstruction of the "Olimpiyskiy" Sport Complex, enterprises chairmen and all interested people", - M. Tomenko informed.
