Mykola Tomenko: Discussion of the Budget 2010 reconfirmed the Existence of a Single Battlefront against Yulia Tymoshenko
Mykola Tomenko, Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, believes that discussion of the budget 2010 reconfirmed the existence of a single battlefront against Yulia Tymoshenko.
"We have witnessed a number of times, when the initiatives and actions of Yulia Tymoshenko, Prime Minister of Ukraine, were simultaneously assessed by the teams of Viktor Yushchenko and Viktor Yanukovych", - he stated, stressing that active discussion of the budget presented at Ukrainsky Dim on Tuesday reconfirmed that statement.
M.Tomenko stated that key spokespersons of the teams of V.Yushchenko and V.Yanukovych acted as the most violent critics, similar in the form and content. Thus, both teams arranged their schedule to present their claims against the Prime Minister on one and the same day.
"One can assert that this single battlefront will act jointly during the presidential election campaign, attracting new and old politicians that will participate in the campaign", - stressed the Vice-Chairman.
Mykola Tomenko believes that such struggle will be beneficial for the candidates for presidency. "However, Ukraine expects that politicians from different teams, esp. V.Yushchenko and V.Yanukovych, will unite in the common struggle against the crisis, not against Yu.Tymoshenko", - he stressed.
