The Committee members stated that "the cost of medicine and turnover of low-quality and forged medicine" had increased in Ukraine lately.
At present, the State agencies in charge of control over the quality of medicine fail to control the entities in the field of medicine turnover. It results in the failure to struggle with the shadow pharmaceutical market in Ukraine.
The People's Deputies stated that the Committee received numerous appeals from the workers of chemist's shops, producers and distributors of medicine concerning illegal actions of the officials of the central executive bodies of a newly founded State Medicine Inspection.
Pursuant to the Draft Resolution (Reg. No. 5035), V.Kniazevych, Minister of Health of Ukraine, will present the report on the said matter at the plenary meeting of the Parliament in October 2009.
