On Monday, Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, took part in the students´ initiation at the faculty of history of Kyiv National University. "To predict the future, one must predict the past, which is the task of the historians of modern generation", - stressed the Head of the Ukrainian Parliament in his address to the first-year students.
As an alumnus of the faculty of history of Kyiv National University, and an acting professor of the department of modern history, V.Lytvyn called on the future historians to learn the tremendous knowledge of Alma Mater decently and persistently.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stated that students had immense opportunities, and the only task was to avail oneself of them to implement the enormous amount of knowledge obtained in the period of studies at the university.
