Within the scope of the working visit to Kherson region, Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, visited the hospital named after A. and O. Tropin in Kherson.
V.Lytvyn attended the opening of the computer-aided tomography cabinet, presented the hospital with the equipment for the resuscitation department (multifunctional electrocardiograph, electronic dispenser of medicinal substance introduction, computer unit) and met the employees of the medical establishment.
V.Lytvyn answered the questions of the physicians concerning the problems in the medical sphere. Thus, he believes that medical workers themselves shall formulate and express the suggestions, and the authorities shall scrutinize and implement them.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine deems necessary to secure adequate funding of the medical sphere first and foremost. V.Lytvyn also deems necessary to secure adequate diagnosing.
