Mykola Tomenko: Investigation in Pukach Case should be held Inquisitors and not Politicians
Mykola Tomenko, the Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared that it is of highest importance that each crime should be investigated by the professionals and especially in such resonance case as G. Gongadze murder.
"Not only justice is important, cleaning of the society as well", - M. Tomenko stressed. In order someone do not consider the times of L. Kuchma as times of fair economy and moral policy".
He deems that such resonance case should be investigated exclusively by the inquisitors and not politicians. M. Tomenko called it "very suspicious" that Pukach surrendered to the law enforcement agencies before the president´s elections. "We should be sure in legitimacy of the investigation. Would like to stress one more time, the investigation should not be held by the politicians", - M. Tomenko emphasized.
