Tomenko predicts that some Heads of the Regional State Administrations will be dismissed in the Nearest Time
Mykola Tomenko made the above-mentioned statement in the interview to "Hlavred".
According to M.Tomenko, "after the declaration of the acting Head of State on Hoverla, electoral fight for the pro-European electors between Tymoshenko and Yatseniuk changed for the fight between Yatseniuk and Yushchenko for the administrative resource". The Vice-Chairman stated that V.Yushchenko had always relied on the district and regional administrations. When he stated that he did not make a final resolution to run for presidency, a number of administrations reoriented for A.Yatseniuk. At present, the opinions differ. "Therefore, I predict that some heads of the regional State administrations who supported Viktor Baloha, former Head of the President´s Secretariat, or campaigned for Yatseniuk will be dismissed", - he stated.
According to M.Tomenko, Yu.Tymoshenko and V.Yanukovych exert influence only on the local self-government, while the regional administrations that control the Security Service, prosecution and other law-enforcement agencies exercise the most influential authority. "Thus, Yatseniuk and Yushchenko make up the intrigue of the summer political stage", - he stated.
