The Committee on Juridical Policy recommends that the Parliament adopts a Basis the Bill of the Law "On Introduction of the Amendments to certain Legal Acts of Ukraine"

During the meeting of the Committee
it was announced that the Bill (Reg.№4100) envisages that certain legal
acts of Ukraine
should be driven into the coordination with the Law "On Notarial System".
The Chairman
of the Committee, Sergiy Mishchenko declared, in particular, that the document
envisages the amendments to the Civil Code of Ukraine concerning the access of
the private notaries to the scrutiny of the notarial actions concerning the
inheritance as it is envisages by the Law "On Notarial System" under the
edition from the 1st of October 2008.
The Bill also introduces the notion "notarial
secret", recommends the amendments to the Criminal-Procedural Code in the form
of the principles according to which registers of notarial actions, documents
or notarial seal might be represented in the court according to the motivated
court resolutions only for the scrutiny and should be returned immediately by
the court after scrutiny. The liability for the interference into the activity
of the notary aiming at the perverting of notarial duties implementation is
also envisages by the Bill.
The amendments
should also be introduced to the Family Code, Laws "On Mortgage", "On Financial Rehabilitation
of Debtor or Recognition it as a Bankrupt", "On Economic Companies", "On Mortgage
Lending", "On Joint-Stock Companies", "On Credit Union" etc.
