The Bill (Reg.№2716) envisages the additions of the
current law with the new chapter concerning every-month assistance for the children-orphans.
Today the issue is regulated by the corresponding resolution of the Cabinet of
Ministers of Ukraine.
The Member of the Committee has scrutinized the Document repeatedly. On the sitting on the 1st April 2009 the decision to recommend that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopts as a Basis the Bill, still the communication should be directed for the scrutiny after the conclusion of the Budget Committee. On the 1st of July 2009 the resolution was sent according to which Ministry on Finances does not uphold the Bill, realization of which needs 134,0 mln. UAH
The members of the Committee expressed for the support of the Bill as it "legislatively foxes the social protection of this sensitive category of children".
As a result of scrutiny the Committee ascertained the precious decision and recommends that the Parliament scrutinize the Bill in the first reading and adopts it as a Basis.
