The Bill alters the procedure of formation of constituency and district election committees, reduces the period of election process from 120 to 90 days, and improves the procedure of filing an appeal against the resolutions of the subjects of the election process.
Moreover, the Bill eliminates the institute of absentee ballots and signature lists for the support of the candidate to the post of the President of Ukraine.
The Criminal Code is supplemented with the regulation, pursuant to which, a member of the election committee bears responsibility for evasion from the participation in the committee´s work without a valid reason.
