Mykola Tomenko: Ministry on Science and Education should protect Employment Laws of Teachers in Kyiv
Mykola Tomenko, the Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine feels embarrassed by the situation concerning the holiday pays and assistance on recreation for the workers of the education sphere, in particular with teachers in Kyiv city.
He informed that he received numerous complaints concerning the late or not in full holidays pays for the workers of the educational sphere in Kyiv.
According to M. Tomenko, it is the first time for the ten years then teachers go on vacations without the holiday pays. "Because of the incompetent work of the Kyiv City State Administration and chronic non-fulfillment of city budget, in the capital one may observe the situation where teachers do not receive the budget increments. It is considered to be normal for the city that the salaries are not paid or paid with delay, the same situation with holiday and recreation pays", - the Vice-Chairman fo the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared.
M. Tomenko has directed appellations to the Minister on Science and Education asking to interfere with the situation and protect the citizens´ rights.
