During the meeting of the committee the two alternative Bills were scrutinized: Reg№3673-1 introduced by the People´s Deputy Yu. Karmazin and №3673 by S. Kharovskym.
The suggested Bills envisage the possibility of the information allotment that is of banking secrecy on a written demand of the Temporary Inquiry Panel of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, special prosecutor and special investigators when their tasks are investigating the fact of the commitment by the President of Ukraine high treason or other crimes, on the matters regarding the subject of their activity and prosecuting bodies, Security Service, Ministry on Internal Affairs, Anti-monopoly Committee if the suggested body act for the issue of the parliamentary temporary inquiry panel.
As a result of scrutiny it was recommended that the Parliament rejects the Bills as the issue on the disclosure of the banking secrecy is regulated by the effective law of Ukraine.
