Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine expressed for the Necessity of the Revision of the Energy Balance of the Country with the Increase of the Coal Specific Gravity.
V. Lytvyn declared it on Thursday during the meeting with the workers of the coal mines named after Chapaev, Ternopilska, 1st May in Shakhtarsk town (Donetsk region).
According to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine the use of coal should be increased and correspondingly the consuming of gas should be decreased, and also the scope of the coal purchase from abroad should be decreased as well and implement quotes on the critical import. "Burning gas we burn our money", - he declared.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine answered that he has directed for the parliamentary consideration the Bill of the Resolution "On Immediate Measures on the Support of the Coal Industry and Provision of the Energy Safety in Ukraine", which according to him, is elaborated aiming at the facilitation of the coal market functioning, provision of the rights equality concerning the coalmining enterprises irrespectively from the type of ownership, formation of the favourable conditions for the activity of the coalmining enterprises and also stabilization of the social-economic situation in the coalmining sphere and provision of energy safety in Ukraine.
"There are engineer, scientific thought in Ukraine, people have the capacity of everything but the most important is to support them", - he announced.
According to V. Lytvyn, if the suggested Resolution is upheld by the Parliament, he would deem it as "an implementation of the year norm". "The one positive decision is better then a lot of promises", - he declared.
V. Lytvyn emphasized the necessity of the compliance with a Law on the prestige of the coalmining work.
The chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine expressed for the fixing on the legislative level the hourly pay, prohibition on the decrease of the working week and increase of the salary part in the cost price of the production.
"If Donbas Is working, the part of which in the production of the country comprises one fourth then everything will be good in the country", - he summed up.
