Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declares that he would not sign any Resolutions concerning the Date of the president´s Elections that would contradict with the Constitutional Court Legal Decisions

Giving answers during the press-conference on Thursday in Donetsk, Volodymyr Lytvyn once again emphasized his position concerning the necessity of the President´s elections conducting in January of the next year.

Volodymyr Lytvyn reminded that according to the Constitutional Court decision, the president´s elections should be held "during the lat week of the last month of the last year of the President´s authorities that is in January 2010" The present Leader of the country would "overwork a certain time" but according to him it is "the result of the political compromise of the political powers in year 2004".

V. Lytvyn expressed the thoughts that the desire of certain political power to conduct elections earlier is caused by "the fear to lose the remained pints of rating", and declared that he would not sign "illegal resolutions".

The hustings that "would be followed by the accusing of each other and promises when there is no practical results would not solve social problems in Ukraine", V. Lytvyn declared. He informed that appealed to the Ukrainian politicians "especially to those possessing high ratings" in order "to agitate by the real results and actions but not by the promises".
