Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine emphasizes that the Increase of the Financing of the Activity of the Parliament is Sufficient for the Normal Functioning of the Only Legislative Body.
Commenting the announcement of Viktor Yushchenko, the President of Ukraine, concerning the rejection of signing of the law "On Amendments to the State Budget of Ukraine for the Year 2009", according to which the extra financing of the parliamentary activity is presupposed.
"When we get the document we would resolve decisions. Everything is clear and it would remain clearing future", - the Leader of the Parliament declared.
V. Lytvyn stressed that the increase in financing is objective by concrete reasons.
According to him there is a need to settle accounts with the organizations that conducted repair works in the Verkhovna Rada.
He also emphasized the need for sufficient illuminating of the activity of the Verkhovna Rada. "If people agree that there would not be any broadcasting of the parliamentary sittings then there is no problem, I will be only for it".
Particular amount of funds are planed to be directed on the debt extinction before the international parliamentary institutions, the Verkhovna Rada is a part of. "If we want to be excluded from all the international parliamentary organizations let us not extinct our debts", - the Chairman declared.
According to V. Lytvyn, situation that is observed nowadays is formed "in order to destroy the Verkhovna Rada", and "then they would hold the presidents elections as they want". "I try my best to preserve in Ukraine things that are still left. Still you are always accused for it".
