The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted the Law "On Amendments to the Article 301 Criminal Code of Ukraine" (re the Liability for the Possession of the Works or Objects of Pornographic Nature)

The Law is elaborated aiming at the strengthening of the rights and interests of children and bringing of the national law in the correspondence with the international-legal obligations of Ukraine before the Ratification of the Facultative Protocol to the Convention on Children Rights concerning the trade in children, children prostitution and pornography.

The corresponding Bill is registered under №3221.
