Mykola Tomenko: Kyiv Libraries is one of not Numerous Ukrainian Cultural Centres in the Capital
Mykola Tomenko the Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has met on the 16th of June the directors of the Kyiv libraries for children
"On the background of everyday vanishing of the cultural centres in Kyiv, the libraries are lonely places of our culture", - M. Tomenko announced.
"Libraries for the children are places of cultural propaganda, they are the only places where the child may receive the consultation and information for free", - he stressed.
M Tomenko supplied all the libraries with the discs "Main Songs and Melodies of Ukraine", "Classics of Ukrainian Literature. Living Voices" and the book "Ukrainian Romanticist Mykola Gogol".
