Ratification of the Agreement will render a possibility for the citizens and legal entities of both Contractual Parties to address the courts and other authorized agencies of the relevant Party in civil and criminal cases.
The Agreement also defines the scope of legal assistance and cases when the legal assistance can be denied.
Pursuant to the Agreement, the central bodies in charge of its implementation are the General Prosecution (re inquiries of pre-trial investigation bodies in the criminal cases) and the Ministry of Justice (re inquiries in the civil cases and inquiries of judges in the criminal cases).
A relevant Bill was registered under Reg. No. 0130.
