Mykola Tomenko: Ukraine is interested in Active Cooperation with Kyrgyzstan
Mykola Tomenko took part in the opening of the Sittings of the Constant Committees of Interparliamentary Assembly of the Countries participants of CIS that is held in Bishkek (Republic of Kirghizia)
Within the visit the meeting with Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh (parliament) of Kyrgyzstan Aitibay Tagaev was held.
During the meeting, the Vice-Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament stressed the progress in the relations between two countries, in particular the fact that the goods circulation between two countries reached 100 mln. USD.
During the Meeting with the Minister on Culture and Information of Kyrgyzstan, Sultan Raev, the Parties discussed the issue of the bilateral cooperation in the cultural sphere. M. Tomenko suggested that the days of Kyrgyzstan in Ukraine should be held in year 2010 and days of Ukraine in Kyrgyzstan in year 2011.
M. Tomenko has also met the students of the Center of Ukrainian culture in Kyrgyz National University, students of Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University and has visited the 48th school in Bishkek city where children is taught in Ukrainian language.
