PLENARY MEETINGS OF THE FOURTH SESSION OF THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE ON THE SIXTH CONVOCATION WERE HELD ON FRIDAY, 5 JUNE
Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, opened the morning meeting and informed the People´s Deputies about the results of Parliament´s work at the plenary meeting on 4 June.
The Chairman of the Committee on Family Matters, Youth Policy Sport and Tourism, Pavlo Kostenko informed o the new revision of the Bill "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Organization and Holding of the Final Part of the European Football Championship 2012 in Ukraine".
Pursuant to the Bill, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine: supports and cooperates with the hosting association, the UEFA, concerning organization and holding of the Championship; coordinates activity of the central and local executive bodies related to the organization and holding of the Championship; ratifies the Program with due account taken of the motions of relevant local self-government bodies; approves the concepts concerning provision of the Championship with relevant branches; appoints national coordinators and defines their duties; exerts control over the implementations of actions related to the holding of the Championship.
The Verkhovna Rada adopted the Bill in its entirety as the Law (386 votes).
Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has greeted the journalists with the professional holiday on the 6th of June and expressed thankfulness for their work.
Parliamentarians scrutinized the Resolution "On Amendments to the Resolution of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine "On the Schedule of the Fourth Session of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the Sixth Convocation"
Pursuant to the Resolution, during the week of 9-12 June, the People´s Deputies will work in the following way: 09.06 sitting of the Conciliative Council, afternoon plenary meeting; 10.06 plenary meeting, work in the Committees and Factions; 11.06 plenary meetings; 12.06 plenary meeting.
The Resolution was adopted by 322votes.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine scrutinized the Law "On Amendments to certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding Introduction of an Automatic System of Paperwork Document Control at the Administrative Courts" and has adopted it by 312 votes.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On the National Referendum" (296 votes).
The Report of f the Temporary Inquiry Panel of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to investigate the Facts of Violation of the Constitution of Ukraine and Ukrainian Laws by the Officials of Kyiv State Administrations of Kyiv Region was introduced by the Chairman of the Panel, Kyrylo Kulikov.
According to the Bill of he Resolution the Parliament points out the attention of the President of Ukraine, Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Prosecution General of Ukraine, Ministry on Internal Affairs, on Culture and Tourism, Health Protection, Regional development of Building, Finance, Environmental protection, Fund of the State Property, Court of Auditors, Sate Tax Administration, General Control-Supervision Administration on he activity Officials of Kyiv State Administrations of Kyiv Region that led to the critical situation in the medical sphere, environment and technological activities of people safety in Kyiv, the supervision for the land fund, implementation of non-proved pay for the transport etc.
The opposite thought was expressed by the member of the Temporary Inquiry Panel, Volodymyr Yaroshiuk who informed that the information presented by the Chairman of the Panel was untruthful.
As a result of scrutiny the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has not passed the Bill of the Resolution of f the Temporary Inquiry Panel of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to investigate the Facts of Violation of the Constitution of Ukraine and Ukrainian Laws by the Officials of Kyiv State Administrations of Kyiv Region
After the break in the sitting the People´s Deputies have scrutinized the Resolution "On Dismissal of Yu.I.Yekhanurov from the Post of the Minister of Defence of Ukraine". The Resolution was presented by one of the authors, People´s Deputy, Valeriy Pysarenko.
On the resolution of the Profile Committee to recommend that the Parliament should adopt the Resolution was informed by the First Vice-Chairman of the Committee on State Building and Local Self-Governing, Olga Bodnar.
The members of YTB bloc and Chairman of the Committee on National Safety and Defence, A. Grytsenko expressed for the adoption of the resolution.
Against the dismissal expressed the Deputies from the Parliamentary group "Our Ukraine".
Pursuant to Paragraph 12, Part 1 of Clause 85 of the Constitution of Ukraine, Paragraph 3, Part 2 of Clause 18 of the Law "On the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine", the People´s Deputies voted for the dismissal of Yuriy Ivanovych Yekhanurov from the post of the Minister of defence of Ukraine (363 votes).
Next Plenary meeting would be held on Tuesday, the 9th of June, at 4 pm.
